Sprudge is the world leader in coffee news and frothy gossip. It dominates coverage of barista competitions, coffee consortiums, new cafe openings, and anything related to cafes and coffee culture. I was the Bay Area desk from 2012 to 2014.
At Sprudge I covered the San Francisco coffee scene, and occasionally other coffee climates, including international destinations like Berlin and Sweden. My proudest work lampooned the Nespresso pod machines, covered breaking news on Square's research in cafes, and got to the bottom of why cafes in Colorado can get away with boiling their coffee.
